ENERGY GENERATION MECHANISM
It is well known that in the cosmological hypothesis one is faced with the
difficult problem of finding the origin of the very large energies released. No
satisfactory solution to this question has been found so far. The presumed high
luminosity of quasars is, of course, a consequence of the cosmological
interpretation of the redshift. In the PLS model, a quasar is just a special
type of star and there is no difficulty as regards to the energy generation
mechanism. (Good old nuclear reactions !)
